Princess Calla was an exceptional and versatile performer who was crowned South Africa’s Horse Of The Year and Champion Older Female of 2022-2023. Her 12 wins from 28 South African stars included five at Grade One level.
When she won the 2023 G1 Ridgemont Garden Province Stakes, Princess Calla made amends for her runner-up finish in the race two years earlier. The daughter of Flower Alley relinquished the 2024 Garden Province Stakes winner, Humdinger, into third when she won the Garden Province Stakes. The champion would go on to claim the G1 The HKJC Champions Cup next time out, where Princess Calla accounted for such G1 winning males as See It Again, Dave The King, Trip Of Fortune, Safe Passage, MK’s Pride and Al Muthana.

When she won the 2019 G1 Jonsson Workwear Garden Province Stakes, Celtic Sea defeated an exceptional field. Among the notable stars beaten by Celtic Sea was Horse Of The Year Oh Susanna, and fellow G1 winners Snowdance, Temple Grafin, and Front And Centre.

Redberry Lane picked up the biggest win of her career when she caused a 22-1 surprise when victorious in the G1 Jonsson Workwear Garden Province Stakes of 2018. In landing the Garden Province, Redberry Lane provided her owners, Lammerskraal Stud, with their first Grade 1 winner since Pieter and Jolanda Graaf purchased the farm from former owner Mike Rattray in 2014

In landing the Garden Province Stakes, the second G1 triumph of her career, Happy Archer stormed home to beat multiple G1 winner and Equus Champion Beach Beauty by three-parts of a length.
The daughter of legendary stallion Dubawi would retire to stud having won seven times and banked R1 364 945 million in stakes.
