Alice Shines In Devon Air

Sean Tarry Racing look to have some lovely two-year-olds this season, and the stable enjoyed yet more juvenile success in 2025-2026, when the yard sent out Alice B Toklas to win the Listed Amusnet Devon Air Stakes (1400m) at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Saturday.

Under a confident ride from Keagan De Melo, Alice B Toklas picked up her first black type win when she powered home to get up and win the 2026 Devon Air Stakes in convincing fashion by over a length and three-quarters.

Her stablemate Perfect Sky, who made much of the running, finished fourth in Saturday’s Listed feature.
It was a smart performance by Alice B Toklas, who raced keen early on.

Alice B Toklas, a half-sister to the yard’s high-class filly World Of Alice, has won two of four starts and she looks to have a bright future ahead of her.
Bred by Varsfontein Stud, Alice B Toklas races for Dayalan Chinsammy, Mark Currie, Gerald Frank,  and Vendel Civils (Pty) Ltd.

A daughter of Master Of My Fate, Alice B Toklas could go next in the G2 SplashOut Golden Slipper.
