Page Boy, Artic Silver Strike At The Vaal
Four-year-olds Page Boy and Artic Silver both won at the Vaal on Thursday to provide Sean Tarry Racing with a memorable double.
Flower Alley gelding Page Boy benefitted from a fast pace up front when he won the For Hospitality Bookings Call 011 681 1796 MR 74 Handicap on Thursday. Under a well judged ride from Serino Moodley, the Flower Alley came from a long way back to get up and win a shade cosily by a neck.

Bred on the same cross as the yard’s former champion Princess Calla, Page Boy is out of the Captain Al sired Fillies Guineas winner Fiorella.
The stable’s second success on Thursday came when four-year-old filly Artic Silver captured the Betway Summer Cup 29 November FM 71 Apprentice Divided Handicap over 1800 metres.
Under Dezahn Lowe, the daughter of Querari raced midfield early on before Dezahn bought his mount with a strong run.
It was a first win at the Vaal for Dezahn.
Artic Silver hit the front close home and stayed on to win by a length and a quarter.
Bred by the Sandown Stud, Artic Silver races for Kestorm Investments.
