Matinee Wows On Debut
The Tarry yard sent out the well-bred filly Matinee to make a smart, winning debut at the Vaal on Thursday.
A three-year-old daughter of Rafeef, Matinee powered home, under Anaas Mosaheb, to land the #Youcanbetonus! Maiden Plate (F and M) (1000m) by a length and a quarter going away.
Bred by Team Valor International (who own the filly in partnership with Anant and Vanashree Singh), Matinee is out of the Gimmethegreenlight mare Roll In The Hay, winner of four races including the Listed Lady’s Pendant.
Matinee’s third dam won three including the Listed East Cape Fillies Nursery.
